SWFL Vacations Nondiscrimination Policy
Effective September 29, 2026 · Version 1.0.0
Everyone who uses SWFL Vacations must treat every Guest, Host and Vendor fairly. Nobody may be refused, charged more or treated differently because of who they are. This policy applies to all Hosts, Vendors and Guests and is part of the Terms of Service.
Protected characteristics#
Hosts and Vendors may not decline a booking, cancel, set different terms, or post listings or messages that discourage people based on:
- race, color, ethnicity or national origin
- religion or creed
- sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation or gender identity
- marital status or familial status, including traveling with children
- disability
- any other characteristic protected by federal, Florida or local law
Florida law also prohibits public lodging operators, including vacation rentals, from refusing guests based on race, creed, color, sex, pregnancy, physical disability or national origin.
What Hosts and Vendors may still do#
Hosts and Vendors may set rules that apply equally to everyone and are clearly shown on the listing. Examples include occupancy limits, quiet hours, no-party rules, pet rules, and the Platform's minimum booking age of 25 for the Guest who books. Vendors may set safety requirements, such as a minimum age, weight limits or swimming ability, when the activity requires them.
A rule may not be a disguised way of excluding a protected group. For example, a Host may not ban children to avoid families when the property is safe for them.
Disability and service animals#
Hosts and Vendors must allow service animals as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act and Florida law, even at listings with a no-pets rule. No extra fee may be charged for a service animal. Hosts and Vendors must describe accessibility features accurately and consider reasonable requests to accommodate a disability.
Reporting and enforcement#
Report discrimination to support@swflvacations.com. We review every report and may remove listings, cancel bookings, or suspend or close accounts that violate this policy. Retaliating against someone who reports a concern is also a violation.
